Use
two 18 in. x 12 in. floral foam boards (Wal
Mart). Cut them in half length wise. You will have four 18 in x 6 in. pieces
but I only needed three of them to go across the top of the bulletin board.
Run a
piece of floral wire or zip tie all the
way through to make hangers
on each end of the foam.

These
T pins (from Wal Mart
in the sewing section) make great hangers. Angle the pin a little downward as
you push it into the top of the bulletin board and hang the foam when you’re
finished.

Use a
paper cutter to cut lots of Astrobrights
cardstock into 1 inch strips.

Fold
each piece and attach it to the foam with a straight pin.

I
also added chenille stems throughout.

Fold
and staple 3 or 4 strips of cardstock together. Staple to the bulletin board. Add some twisted chenille stems and a pretty border to cover the staples.
Try to curl some of the pieces upward for more of a 3D effect. Easy peezy!!

This
looks great on a black background. I cut a black flat sheet to fit my board.
I’m hoping it won’t fade as quickly as paper.
